Silica gel for TLC is available in various grades, with or without binders. Silica Gel G contains gypsum as a binder, ensuring firm adhesion to the plate, while Silica Gel H is a binder-free option. For improved visibility under UV light, fluorescent indicators are incorporated, such as in Silica Gel GF254 and Silica Gel HF254 grades.
